Good day! If you're reading this, you're likely a member of the Chess Club at Florida Atlantic. This is a reminder that last Wednesday, on the 20th, at 5 PM, we had our first chess club meeting. We had a very nice turnout for our first meeting, where we introduced our plans for further club development and the acquisition of necessary materials, which should be nearly fully settled! We also showed a game review of one of the most famous games in historical chess, the game of the century between Bobby Fischer and Donald Byrne, where at just 13 years old, Fisher beat the very accomplished US representative at multiple world chess olympiads, Donald Byrne. Next Wednesday, we plan to host many in-person games, along with some puzzle solving.

The election of NSA-FAU for the annual year 2025-26 was held on August 17, 2025, via Zoom meeting. The following candidates have been unanimously elected/nominated as the officers, members, and advisors as per the constitution of the organization: Executive Board        1. Join us every Friday at 3pm in room 337 of the Arts and letters building for our weekly Visual Storytellers meeting. At the moment our team is working on a visual novel titled " Can I find a girl who isn't a bug monster in a world invaded by praying mantis shapeshifters". We welcome all 2D artists, 3D artists, SFX, environment artists, script writers, or any other talent you have that may help.
