Don't miss this opportunity to connect with, and learn about, the local wildlife while engaging in mindfulness practice by immersing yourself in the local ecosystem. Facilitator Bio: Kyle Matera earned his B.A. in Psychology from Florida Gulf Coast University and his MSW from Florida Atlantic University. He has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2016 and a Qualified Supervisor for licensure since 2018. During the pursuit of his graduate degree, Kyle worked on a Crisis Stabilization Unit in a Community Mental Health Center, an experience that fueled his passion for the treatment of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and one that continues to influence his treatment and teaching styles. When not teaching at FAU, Kyle works as a primary therapist in an outpatient clinic specializing in Opioid Use Disorders while also supervising both Undergraduate and Graduate Social Work students in a mental health crisis stabilization unit. Additionally, he enjoys working as a supervisor for post-graduate Registered Interns. When not working, and as a self-care practice, Kyle is an avid birder and nature photographer. He is a guide for the local Audubon Society and has begun leading nature walks through the university.

Composed in 1812 by Pietro Carlo Guglielmi and featuring a libretto by Andrea Leone Tottola, this opera has not been performed since the early 1800s. The work offers a glimpse into the political and cultural landscape of Napoleonic Italy. Concert to feature full orchestra, original costumes, and an international cast and crew.
