This exhibit offers an immersive exploration into the life and writings of Theodore Pratt. Known as “the Poet Laureate of Florida,” Pratt’s life and literary contributions are highlighted through personal artifacts, photographs, and manuscripts. Her other award winning novels include Birds of Paradise Origin Crescent and Arabian Jazz. She also has two memoirs, Life Without a Recipe and The Language of Baklava which have been translated into more than twenty languages and taught around the world.DeAndra Davis is a neuro diverse, Jamaican-American author who lives in the swampy heat of Florida.
