- Nov 137:00 PMA Tribute to The Duke - Florida Atlantic Jazz OrchestraEdward Kennedy “Duke” Ellington composed or co- composed more than 1,000 works, ranging from dance melodies to sacred pieces incorporating elements of blues, gospel, and classical traditions. Ellington’s contributions earned him 14 Grammy Awards, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and a posthumous Pulitzer Prize. Please join Artistic Director of Jazz, Courtney D. Jones, DMA, and the members of the Florida Atlantic Jazz Orchestra as they pay Tribute to the Duke, with guest soloist Irena Kofman, DMA. Tickets $10.

- Nov 147:00 PMGeorgina Dieter Dennis Annual Honors Choral FestivalHonor high school and middle school students rehearse and perform in a side-by side format with FAU’s Chamber Singers and Vocalis. Collectively, all choristers involved conclude the one-day event in a performance of extended choral works with chamber ensemble accompaniment. Conducted by Patricia P. Fleitas, DMA, and Stacie Lee Rossow, DMA. Free concert.
