Under the direction of Laura Joella, DMA, the program opens with Mozart’s “Overture to Così fan tutte,” followed by Guilmant’s “Symphonique” performed by trombone soloist Jose Leon, DMA, and Barber’s “Souvenirs.” The evening concludes with Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 2. Tickets $10.

High school students from around the state will perform side-by-side with members of the FAU Symphony Orchestra, directed by Laura Joella, DMA. Repertoire includes Mozart’s “Eine kleine Nachtmusik,” Fauré’s “Nocturne” from “Shylock,” Eric Whitacre’s “A Boy and a Girl,” and Brouwer’s “Beatlerianas” for guitar and string orchestra, featuring classical guitarist Juan Antonio Peña, DMA. Free concert.
