BOCA RATON, Fla. (June 23, 2022) – Florida Atlantic University fans can mark their calendars in preparation for the exciting season and festivities that are being planned around the 2022 six-game home schedule.
The Owls' first five games will be night games, all scheduled later in the day, which is more south Florida friendly. It's a great time to gather with family and friends. FAU's final home game is scheduled for noon on Saturday, November 26th, which is the Saturday following Thanksgiving.
"This promotional schedule was planned as a way to celebrate our university, student-athletes, community and culture," said Rob Roselli, FAU's associate athletic director and for marketing. "We anticipate an exciting season, and we look forward to the energy our fans and our students are going to bring on game days."

Saturday, September 10 vs. Southeastern Louisiana, 6 p.m. - Palm Tree Appreciation Day – Help us pay homage to "Paradise," join us for Palm Tree Appreciation Day. More details to come.
Join us in helping – In honor of Hunger Awareness Month, one free game ticket will be awarded to fans who bring a family sized cereal box to this game as a donation to Boca Helping Hands. One family sized cereal box equals one free game ticket to the SELU game.
Saturday, September 17 vs. UCF, 7:30 p.m. - Wear Red, Defend Paradise! All FAU fans are asked to wear RED to this game as we Defend Paradise. Those who arrive early will receive "Winning in Paradise" sunglasses. Red pom poms for all! Fans are encouraged to arrive early to this game to support the Owls.
Saturday, October 15 vs. Rice, 6 p.m. - Homecoming, Owl Family Weekend – Join us for our annual Homecoming Game. Owls of all eras are invited back to campus. For the first time, Owl Family Weekend coincides with Homecoming. Current Owl families are invited to campus for a weekend of festivities which celebrates their favorite current college student.

Saturday, October 29 vs. UAB, 7 p.m. - The Biggest Halloween Party in Boca Raton – The Owls host UAB on Halloween weekend. Fans are encouraged to come in costume to The Biggest Halloween party in Boca Raton.
Saturday, November 26 vs. Western Kentucky, – Senior Day, Military Appreciation Day – FAU says thank you to the football seniors, who will play in their final home game as an Owl.
Salute Veterans - In honor of National Veterans Month, FAU will salute all those who have served our country, past, present and future as we celebrate Military Appreciation Day.
FAU will open the 2022 season on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, versus Charlotte at FAU Stadium. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. and will be televised on CBSSN and will air locally on Sports640 AM South Florida.
