Breezeway Dialogues – Religious Perspectives on Reproductive Health and Abortion in America

FAU students, faculty and staff are invited to the next Breezeway Dialogues on Monday, Nov. 14 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the Live Oak Pavilion of the Student Union.

The title of the session is “Religious Perspectives on Reproductive Health & Abortion in America.” In the midst of an intense national conversation about abortion access and the right to choose, this dialogue will bring together local religious leaders for a challenging conversation based on civil discourse and evidence-based discussion.

Panelists include Father Andrew Sherman – St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church; Dr. Ahmed Howeedy – Islamic Center of Boca Raton; Rabbi Amy Pessah – local educator, freelance rabbi and spiritual leader; and Rabbi David Steinhardt – moderator. Coffee and cookies will be available before the session.
