The Department of English and Off the Page: Events for Readers and Writers present author Patricia Engel.

Patricia Engel is an award winning author and Associate Professor in the Creative Writing Program at the University of Miami. Engel’s newest publication is a collection of short stories, The Faraway World (Simon & Schuster, 2023).

She is also the author of Infinite Country—a New York Times bestseller and Washington Post notable book—which won a variety of awards including the New American Voices Award and a Florida Book Award.
