BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University athletics has officially announced the launch of the @FAUAthletics TikTok account. TikTok is a short-form, video-sharing app that allows users to create and share 15-second videos, on any topic.
 
"We've greatly increased our presence and activity on social media over the past three years, so adding TikTok to our portfolio is a logical next step in the evolution of our social media strategy," noted Senior Associate AD for External Relations Andy Seeley. "We see three main areas of opportunity on TikTok: engaging and entertaining our current fans, growing awareness outside of our current fanbase and reaching potential students and student-athletes to pique their interest in FAU. We're excited to bring even more fun, engaging content to our followers."
