The Student Talon Award is an honor bestowed annually at the Homecoming Talon Award Reception to a student who exemplifies exceptional leadership and service to the University. Any Florida Atlantic University student in good academic and social standing with the University, has a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative GPA, and has completed community service hours (40 undergraduate/ 20 graduate) is eligible for nomination. 

The nominator must have the following at the time of submission: 

• Nominee’s Name and FAU Email 
• Letter of Recommendation from a FAU professional 
• An Impact Statement from Nominee (750 words or less) 
• Brief Bio of the Nominee (250 words or less) 
• Nominee’s professional photo
