Choral music from the Americas that exhibits the influence of nationalism and patriotism in North and South America. Texts by notable Americans who shaped this country are explored in an assortment of choral settings. Conducted by Patricia P. Fleitas, DMA, and Stacie Lee Rossow, DMA. Part of the Festival for America’s 250th. Tickets $10.

An afternoon of unique experiences explored through the magical tone of the Spanish classical guitar, under the direction of Juan Antonio Peña, DMA. Ticket: $10.

Please join us for free bi-monthly yoga classes! Grounded in breath (Pranayama) and accessible movement (Asana), with a healthy dose of meditation, this class is an opportunity to focus on the mind-body connection through a trauma-informed practice. Great for ALL bodies, ALL abilities, ALL levels. Beginners and practiced yogis welcome. Yoga mats and blocks are available as needed - just bring yourself!Mark your calendars for the 2nd and 4th Mondays from January through April! This series is free and open to all FAU students, faculty, and staff, as well as non-FAU community members.

Geared specifically for those new to yoga or interested in gentle practice, the classes incorporate simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower-paced movements focusing on alignments, strength, and balance.Event Details

Competitive tournament circuit for multiple activities held weekly throughout the semester. Performance is tracked and the tournament concludes with The Owl Cup, a massive 2-week-long finale that awards trophies to the best competitors in each event.
