Athletics Schedule Update (Oct. 8, 3 p.m.)

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Due to the projected path of Hurricane Milton, all Florida Atlantic campuses will suspend operations and classes, including online classes, effective 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8 through Thursday, Oct. 10. A decision about Friday, Oct. 11 operations and classes will be made as information becomes available.
The impact on Florida Atlantic Athletics events is as follows:
- Wednesday's coaches radio show at Duffy's Sports Grill, featuring Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Tom Herman, has been canceled. The show will be pre-recorded and air Thursday at 6 p.m. on FOX Sports 640 South Florida.
- Wednesday's and Thursday's on-campus football media opportunities have been canceled.
- Thursday's women's soccer match versus Rice has been postponed. The match has been rescheduled for Thursday, Oct. 17 at FAU Soccer Stadium at 7 p.m.
- Friday's men's soccer match versus USF remains as scheduled for 7 p.m. at FAU Soccer Stadium and admission is free.
- Saturday's football game versus North Texas remains as scheduled for 7 p.m. at FAU Stadium. For tickets, call 1-866-FAU-OWLS or click here.
Florida Atlantic officials are in regular contact with the appropriate local and state agencies. Updates to FAU Athletics events will be communicated here and via social media when they become available.
