Stroll Like an Alpha is a high-energy, crowd-engaging event hosted by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where participants compete or perform choreographed strolls inspired by the signature style and spirit of Alpha men. Rooted in the traditions of Divine Nine step and stroll culture, this event celebrates unity, creativity, rhythm, and the historical significance of movement in Black Greek-letter organizations.
Open to students of all backgrounds and skill levels, Stroll Like an Alpha invites teams or individuals to showcase their interpretation of Alpha Phi Alpha’s distinguished presence through synchronized strolls, music, and style. Judges or audience members may vote on creativity, precision, and crowd engagement, with prizes or bragging rights on the line.
More than a competition, this event fosters community, educates on the culture of strolling, and promotes the legacy and impact of Alpha Phi Alpha in a fun, respectful, and inclusive environment.
