After more than two centuries, “Amalia e Carlo” returns to the stage. Composed in 1812 by Pietro Carlo Guglielmi and featuring a libretto by Andrea Leone Tottola, this opera has not been performed since the early 1800s. The work offers a glimpse into the political and cultural landscape of Napoleonic Italy. Concert to feature full orchestra, original costumes, and an international cast and crew.
