BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The newest episode of the Paradise Podcast dropped Thursday with highlights from the Shula Bowl victory, a chat with volleyball head coach Fernanda Nelson, an early look at the men's basketball team, and much more.
Hosted by Voice of the Owls Ken LaVicka and former men's basketball player Damon Arnette, the second episode looks back on Saturday's 38-20 football victory over FIU as the Owls retained the Shula Bowl trophy for a seventh consecutive time. Hear from Hagerty Family Head Coach Tom Herman following the win, while LaVicka and Arnette break down the play of the game -- Zuberi Mobley's electrifying 72-yard TD run on 4th-and-1 that gave the Owls the lead for good at 14-7 in the second quarter.

LaVicka is also joined by volleyball head coach Fernanda Nelson, who discusses her squad and its hot start to the 2024 season. Volleyball won five of its first seven matches this season and is getting set to host the Owls Paradise Classic this weekend at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.
The episode also includes LaVicka and Arnette previewing men's basketball and how the season is shaping up under first-year head coach John Jakus.
