Miriam Udel, associate professor at Emory University and director of the Tam Institute of Jewish Studies, is a renowned scholar of Yiddish language, literature, and culture. An award-winning author and translator, her works include Honey on the Page and the forthcoming Modern Jewish Worldmaking Through Yiddish Children's Literature. Udel’s research explores children’s literature as a tool for cultural transmission and political formation. She is currently the inaugural Robert S.
