To ensure that public servants represent our interests, we need to organize. At our meetings, we discuss local, state, and national politics. We share opportunities to get involved in local progressive political organizing. We coordinate year-round voter registration on the Breezeway to ensure that students are prepared to make their voice heard during election season, as well as other events. Miriam Udel, associate professor at Emory University and director of the Tam Institute of Jewish Studies, is a renowned scholar of Yiddish language, literature, and culture. An award-winning author and translator, her works include Honey on the Page and the forthcoming Modern Jewish Worldmaking Through Yiddish Children's Literature. Udel’s research explores children’s literature as a tool for cultural transmission and political formation. She is currently the inaugural Robert S.
