FAU College of Business to Host Second Annual Golf Classic
Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business will host its second annual Golf Classic to support students through scholarships and resources on Oct. 4 at Broken Sound Club, the event’s premier host, in Boca Raton.
Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business will host its second annual Golf Classic to support students through scholarships and resources on Oct. 4 at Broken Sound Club, the event’s premier host, in Boca Raton.
Attendees will have the opportunity to play at a world-class facility while supporting the university, with participants also enjoying a lunch and awards reception to conclude a historic day on the green.
“We are pleased to be hosting the Golf Classic for the second year after the wonderful turnout and support we saw last year,” said Daniel Gropper, Ph.D., dean of FAU’s College of Business. “It is a great opportunity to assist the mission and our students in the College of Business, as well as showcase one of our corporate partners, the Broken Sound Club.”
The College of Business, accredited by the AACSB, is home to more than 8,200 students. The college emphasizes innovation and entrepreneurism through practical instruction, real-life consulting opportunities, interaction with successful executives, and research efforts conducted at its variety of centers. The College of Business has earned numerous rankings for its performance from organizations such as U.S. News & World Report, The Princeton Review and the Financial Times.
