Florida Atlantic University’s Executive Education is ranked No. 1 in the state of Florida for the third year in a row for exceptional program offerings, according to The Financial Times.
The Financial Times establishes the rankings using student feedback, course design, faculty, teaching methods and facilities, and is considered the gold standard among rankings.
“It’s an exciting time for the Executive Education programs and our College of Business,” said Daniel Gropper, Ph.D., dean of the College of Business and Kaye Family Professor. “With our stellar faculty, rigorous programs, and hands-on on relevant teaching, we are uniquely positioned to ensure that our student professionals remain competitive in South Florida’s booming entrepreneurial landscape.”
The Executive Education program offers one of the most diversified selections of more than 60 national and international certifications and professional development programs. Catered to working professionals, the programs help students improve work performance, master relevant knowledge and diversify their experience to grow their careers. The program offers courses online, at night, on weekends or in bootcamps to fit the busy lifestyles of working professionals.
Participants of the program work at leading companies in the health care, finance and accounting industries such as Memorial Healthcare System, United Healthcare, JP Morgan, Polen Capital, NextEra, JM Family Enterprises, and American Express.
“We are drawing out the best among South Florida professionals to help launch their careers to the next level,” said Vegar Wiik, assistant dean in the Executive Education programs at FAU. “With many companies establishing their headquarters in South Florida, our program is uniquely equipped to meet the need of today’s professionals.”
To adapt to changing technologies and the marketplace, Executive Education offers courses in artificial intelligence, business analytics and international financial certifications. FAU’s Executive Education also offers 13 executive degree programs designed for professionals who want to increase their skills without career interruption. FAU recently expanded offerings with three new master’s programs: information technology management, supply chain management and business analytics.
The Executive Education program also launched an executive Ph.D. in business administration in 2019, making the College of Business one of the few AACSB-accredited business schools in the U.S. and the first in Florida to offer a Ph.D. in business in the executive format. Additionally, Executive Education’s Edu-Vantage Partner Program, works with businesses, corporations and organizations to provide a high-quality educational strategy for fulfilling their employee education packages. The program established partnerships with JM Family Enterprises and NextEra Energy, parent company of Florida Power & Light, to offer full-time employees full tuition for both undergraduate and graduate degrees and certifications.
Housed in a 52,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility, the program also offers access to corporate trainings and events such as the Noble Capital Conference featuring former U.S. President George W. Bush.
