About Dr. Howard Anderson
Dr. Howard Anderson is a pioneering entrepreneur and esteemed educator with extensive experience founding and leading major technology ventures. He established The Yankee Group, a technology market research firm that gained national attention for its rapid growth, being listed on the INC 500 Fastest Growing Companies for three consecutive years before being sold to Reuters. Dr. Anderson is also the Co-founder of Battery Ventures, an influential venture capital firm that has raised 14 funds, with its most recent fund reaching $3.5 billion.
Dr. Anderson has held the prestigious William Porter Distinguished Faculty position at MIT’s Sloan School and has taught at prominent institutions including Harvard Business School, Dartmouth’s Tuck School, Technion in Israel, and the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad. Currently, he teaches at Brown University’s Engineering School and will join Florida Atlantic University’s Engineering School as a professor in Spring 2025.
