- All dayLearning from Signals: Advancing Diagnostic and Assistive Technologies Through Machine LearningIn this talk, Laleh Najafizadeh, Ph.D., will present recent machine learning-based solutions developed in my lab for processing of physiological signals, with the goal of advancing diagnostic and assistive technologies. The first part of the talk will focus on cardiovascular signals, discussing challenges and introducing solutions for developing models to estimate blood pressure from signals acquired through wearable sensors. The second part of the talk will focus on neural signals, highlighting the challenges and presenting solutions for developing models for the problem of early detection of mild traumatic brain injury.
