- May 273:00 PMJaffe Center for Book Arts - Stop Watch Gallery TalkOur 25th Anniversary Year celebration continues with this whirlwind gallery talk by JCBA Director John Cutrone. He's choosing 25 artists' books –– one from each year since the Jaffe Collection opened in 2000, and he's got 3 minutes (or less) to show and talk about each one. JCBA Education Coordinator Jonathan Rockford will be on hand with a stopwatch and a very large bell to keep things hopping. The stopwatch begins after a brief welcome and introduction at 3. You're guaranteed to experience things you've never seen before, and you're guaranteed to be outta here by 4:30 PM. Any questions? No? Good. Just show up (no RSVP required) have a seat and enjoy the experience.Aside from his work at the Jaffe Center for Book Arts, John Cutrone is a writer and a partner in Convivio Bookworks, a Lake Worth book arts shop and studio specializing in limited edition letterpress printed books and broadsides (https://conviviobookworks.com), as well as artisan goods and specialty foods from around the world. He is the author of the Convivio Book of Days, a literary lifestyle blog encouraging us to live the ceremony of each day (https://www.conviviobookworks.com/blog/), and was recently named North American editor of Parenthesis, the journal of the Fine Press Book Association. He is a graduate Florida Atlantic University and of the MFA in the Book Arts Program at the University of Alabama.
