- First Meeting of Chess ClubGood day! If you're reading this, you're likely a member of the Chess Club at Florida Atlantic. This is a reminder that last Wednesday, on the 20th, at 5 PM, we had our first chess club meeting. We also showed a game review of one of the most famous games in historical chess, the game of the century between Bobby Fischer and Donald Byrne, where at just 13 years old, Fisher beat the very accomplished US representative at multiple world chess olympiads, Donald Byrne. Next Wednesday, we plan to host many in-person games, along with some puzzle solving.
