Henderson is also ranked the No. 3 Best Public Elementary School in America in the publication’s 2023 rankings.

For example, Henderson received an A+ in the areas of administration, academics, diversity, college prep, food and teachers.

“We are so proud for our entire school community on this astounding achievement,” said Joel Herbst, Ed.D, superintendent of schools. “To rank in the top three public schools in the country since 2017 is a remarkable feat that surely highlights our community’s dedication to education and excellence.”

Niche uses reviews, surveys and the most up-to-date data from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) to compare, score and connect data points to analyze schools. For the complete list of the 2023 Best Schools in America rankings, visit niche.com/k12/rankings/.
