We’ll explore strategies for achieving work-life balance through effective self-care and burnout prevention techniques.Facilitator Bio: Marie English-Arterberry, LCSW is a dynamic leader with over 25 years’ experience in mental and behavioral health. For 20+ years Marie worked and directed the Broward County Public Schools’ Employee Assistance Program (EAP). She led her team in the development of innovative employee engagement activities, presentations, and services around total emotional wellness. In 2018, following the tragic mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, Mrs. English-Arterberry (Marie), was charged with the enormous task of leading the development and delivery of vital services necessary to contribute to the stabilization and mental health recovery of Broward County Public Schools more than 30k employees, made up of both primary and secondary victims. Marie is a passionate content creator, presenter, and strong advocate for a holistic approach to mental well-being. She has developed and presented to a wide range of audiences on such topics as; The Value of Self – Care, Burnout Prevention, Crisis Management, Conflict Resolution, and The Mind Body Connection, to name a few. She seeks to present in a way that resonates with audiences on a personal level that moves information from inception to adoption. Marie is a licensed clinical social worker. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida Memorial College and holds a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Barry University.
