- Apr 175:00 PMWest Bank Story: A Performance for PeaceIn the winter of 2022-23, Caren Neile worked with Israelis and Palestinians in the West Bank, presenting storytelling workshops on behalf of the non-govenmental organization Roots/Shoreshim/Judor. This deeply moving, non-political adult storytelling performance, accompanied by a brief video, details the ways in which Neile tried, and sometimes failed, to listne to the Other in pursuit of peace, as well as to create a safe space for her program participants to do the same. The presentation is followed by audience talkback, giving listeners an opportunity to delve more deeply into the technique of storytelling for peace. Bring your heart, as well as your head.

- Apr 1810:00 AMAmericans at War WWII and the Holocaust ExhibitFlorida Atlantic University Libraries, Special Collections is displaying Americans at War: WWII and the Holocaust. When war was declared in 1941, sixteen million Americans responded to Uncle Sam’s call and served in the U.S. Army, Navy, Marines, and Army Air Forces. From pre-war antisemitism to the surrender of the Axis Powers, this exhibition will narrate the war and devastation through photographs, letters, war documents, and ephemera.The exhibition will be open from 10 am to 2 pm on Tuesdays to Thursdays.The exhibition run dates Tuesday, March 5 – Thursday, April 25
