Celebrate the final concert of the season with the FAU Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Laura Joella. This concert will feature a suite of dances from one of the most popular and romantic ballets, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, paired with Chabrier’s playful Joyeuse Marche. FAU’s own Kyle Mechmet will be the featured soloist in the British masterwork, Saxophone Concerto in B-flat Major, by Holbrooke. The FAU Women’s Chorus, conducted by Dr. Stacie Rossow will join the FAUSO in a haunting performance of Marie-Claire Saindon’s Méditations de la Vierge Marie.
