While ethical considerations are paramount, oversimplifying how we instill ethical attitudes towards atrocity can be perilous. What lessons should we draw from these histories? Despite its integration into curricula, there's been backlash against Holocaust memorialization. How do we honor its uniqueness while acknowledging its claims on us? Amidst growing denial, how do we sustain Holocaust education? What insights from memory studies can guide our remembrance of the past and envisioning of the future?
