- 10:00 AM1hAmericans at War WWII and the Holocaust ExhibitFlorida Atlantic University Libraries, Special Collections is displaying Americans at War: WWII and the Holocaust. When war was declared in 1941, sixteen million Americans responded to Uncle Sam’s call and served in the U.S. Army, Navy, Marines, and Army Air Forces. From pre-war antisemitism to the surrender of the Axis Powers, this exhibition will narrate the war and devastation through photographs, letters, war documents, and ephemera.The exhibition will be open from 10 am to 2 pm on Tuesdays to Thursdays.The exhibition run dates Tuesday, March 5 – Thursday, April 25

- 7:00 PM1hJubilation & ReverieCelebrate the final concert of the season with the FAU Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Laura Joella. This concert will feature a suite of dances from one of the most popular and romantic ballets, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, paired with Chabrier’s playful Joyeuse Marche. FAU’s own Kyle Mechmet will be the featured soloist in the British masterwork, Saxophone Concerto in B-flat Major, by Holbrooke. The FAU Women’s Chorus, conducted by Dr. Stacie Rossow will join the FAUSO in a haunting performance of Marie-Claire Saindon’s Méditations de la Vierge Marie.
