- 9:00 AM3hMindFest 2025MindFest was launched in 2023 by FAU’s new Center for the Future Mind as an annual conference to bring together thought leaders in the fields that study the future of intelligence, especially artificial intelligence (AI), philosophy, psychology, and neuroscience, to discuss the interaction between mind and machine, the nature of intelligence and conscious experience. This two-day event attracts media from venues such as The Miami Herald, Scientific American, Nautilus, WIRED, and Theories of Everything (a top STEM YouTube channel, and more. In partnership with this channel many of the MindFest presentations have reached over 300,000 individuals. Topics explored included the nature of reality, quantum computation, artificial general intelligence (AGI), the neural basis of consciousness, large language models, animal minds, theories of life, and virtual reality (VR). Over six hundred people attend each year, including professionals in the tech industry, policymakers, and students.

The First Timer's Tour will give you tips for navigating a career fair, introduce you to employers and set you up for success at the fair. Tours are every 30 minutes from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and meet at the check-in station. Registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Drop in for career coaching at the Career Center Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. for a resume or cover letter critique, practice interview, and/or LinkedIn profile critique.
