To help find your place in paradise
  • Give a compliment. From their hairstyle to their great ideas, people can instantly warm up to this.
  • Ask an open-ended question. Think of 2-3 questions to ask someone that can give more than a yes or no answer. Prepare your own answer to it in case they return the question!
  • Find common ground. Maybe you both like the same sport or are taking the same class. It gives you something shared you can talk about.
  • Would you rather? Try asking questions following the “Would you rather...” frame because you know, many people have opinions.
  • Pop Culture. Ask questions about their favorite movies, songs, music artists, etc.
