FAU Celebrates Fall 2024 Graduates

Florida Atlantic University conferred more than 2,700 degrees over the course of five in-person commencement ceremonies in the Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium, FAU Student Union, Boca Raton campus. The fall graduates joined more than 211,000 alumni who have graduated from FAU since the university opened its doors in 1964.

“We are incredibly proud of our fall graduates and all they have achieved in their pursuit of excellence,” said FAU President Stacy Volnick. “We look forward to supporting their continued success as they make waves of change through innovation, leadership and service.”

Highlights of the 2024 fall commencement include:

  • There are 60 degree recipients over the age of 50, and 12 are over the age of 60.
  • The oldest graduate is 82 and the youngest is 17.
  • Of the 2,722 graduates, 398 are first-generation students, 109 graduated with a 4.0 GPA, and 25 countries were represented.
