Florida Atlantic University’s A.D. Henderson University School continues to rank among the best schools in America. The 2024 Niche “Best Schools” rankings place ADHUS as the No. 3 public elementary school and No. 5 public middle school in the nation, the latter up eight spots from last year.
Niche – the largest website for researching public and private K-12 schools – also ranks ADHUS as the No. 3 best public elementary school, No. 3 best public middle school, and No. 3 best high school in Florida. Its faculty also shared in the accolades, ranking No. 4 for best elementary school teachers, as well as No. 2 for best middle school teachers and No. 3 for best high school teachers, statewide.
“Third-party recognition such as Niche speaks volumes about the extraordinary dedication and hard work of each of our faculty and staff members,” said Joel Herbst, Ed.D, superintendent of PK-12 schools at FAU. “It's not just a reflection of the knowledge imparted in the classroom, but also the daily care, support and encouragement provided to our students.”
Niche examines thousands of K-12 schools across the United States and ranks them based on a variety of factors, including test scores, student-teacher ratio and reviews from students and parents. For example, Henderson received an A+ in the areas of administration, academics, diversity, college prep and teachers.
Niche uses reviews, surveys and the most up-to-date data from the National Center for Education Statistics to compare, score and connect data points to analyze schools. For the complete list of the 2024 Best Schools in America rankings, visit here. For the ADHUS specific rankings, visit here.
