Neil Simon’s “Rumors”
Neil Simon’s Rumors is a fast-paced comedy set in 1988 that revolves around four couples who gather for the 10th wedding anniversary at the affluent home of Deputy Mayor of New York, Charley Brock, and his wife, Myra. The misadventures begin with Charley being shot and Myra missing, and panic ensues as the guests attempt to keep the situation under control with increasingly elaborate antics to shield Charlie and, more importantly, themselves from scandal.
