OIT Systems Maintenance, Thurs. Sept. 21 from 12:01AM to 7:00AM
Office of Information Technology will be performing routine systems maintenance which includes but is not limited to rebooting Windows servers as deemed necessary, installing critical patches and other health checks on Thursday, 09/21/2023 from 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM during OIT maintenance window. In addition, the following systems will be specifically impacted:
Network Maintenance – VPN
Description of change: OIT will be making security changes to all VPN services.

Affected services: VPN
End-user impact: If a user is using one of the EOL operating systems (Win 7, Win 8.1, macOS 10.14, and macOS 10.15) they will not be able to connect to VPN and receive an error message to check the OS version.
Network Maintenance – Firewall
Description of change: OIT will be rebooting a firewall.

Affected services: Azure SSO, Azure Kubernetes, Azure BigIP, Azure CL Connect, Omeka web server, Azure PD Smart Cop
End-user impact: SSO and other Azure hosted services will be unavailable.
Server Maintenance
Description of change: OIT is making a secure web (https) setting change to comply with policy requirements

Grants Era Portal Maintenance
Description of change: Maintenance work will be done on the Division of Research Grants Era Portal web application. Identified software will be removed from the server that hosts this web application.

Deploy Load jobs of CLT test scores
Description of change: New jobs and modifications to the EDI process will be implemented to load CLT test scores to Banner.

Banner program change
Description of change: OIT will apply Fall update for Banner FA counselor function.

Execute purge process for five tables in Production
Description of change: Ellucian, a third-party vendor, will execute the purge process to remove data older than 280 days from five tables in Banner Production.
